Austin Carter vs. Trevor Miller

We all thought this was over. We all thought Trevor Miller had been taken out of the equation after Austin nearly ripped his head off in the aftermath of our Massacre: Beach Break! special in Miami. But on the biggest night of Austin's career, Trevor resurfaced, and thanks in large part to the injuries Miller inflicted, Austin fell short of Supremacy. But now, on the boat where it all began, this saga will finally come to a close--at least, that's what XWA owner Bella Quinn is hoping. In a last desperate attempt to burn off a rivalry that just won't end, Quinn has turned to one of the most infamous stipulations in professional wrestling, one we haven't seen in XWA in almost 2½ years. And given we're in international waters, there's no telling what these men will do to make the other say the two magic words: "I Quit."

We return from commercial with a graphic for Legends:

74 DAYS AWAY!

We switch scenes to view the commentary desk where Mark Sanction and Matt Steel welcome us back with open arms.

MARK SANCTION
And we are counting down the days to XWA’s biggest Supershow of the year, Legends, as we welcome you back to our current Supershow, On A Boat. And what a night it has been so far!

MATT STEEL
A night filled with surprises and a whole lot of debuts but now it is time for our Main events of the evening.

MARK SANCTION
The card was so big, we had to have two Main events and we begin with this one…

The graphic changes again, this time to a very suave, very cruiselike graphic that features the combatants for the next match.

MARK SANCTION
… the “I quit” match that everyone has been waiting for. The finale in this feud between Trevor Miller and Austin Carter. A feud that, coincidentally, started here, on the Xtreme Cruiselines. Let’s send it to our own Hana Ramierez for the introduction.

DING, DING, DING!

HANA RAMIEREZ
The following contest is an “I quit” match! The rules are simple: In order to win, you must have your opponent utter the words, “I quit”.

As the song XIV by LEINY hits the area speakers, the lights in the arena go out as the stage begins to fill up with smoke. Everything is black including the screens, that until moments before the beat drops and an image emerges from the screen:

“BOW DOWN TO YOUR KING!”

Once the beat drops, the spotlight shines about the man of the hour, wearing his crown and leather vest, poses for “his people” with one arm up with his hands opened wide and his eyes closed. Miller brings his arm down slowly as the lights come on, as if he were commanding the lights. He walks 2 or 3 steps before stopping, the camera angle makes it seem as if the crowd is calling for “their king” as they have their arms out “wanting to touch him”. Miller looks around at the sea of flashing lights and smiles.

HANA RAMIEREZ
Introducing first… from Alton, Illinois, Weighing in at 207 lbs... TREVOR!!! MILLER!!!

MARK SANCTION
He has been antagonist throughout this entire thing. He caused the blow that ended his friendship, forced Carter into injury for more than half of a year, and just recently was influential in Carter not winning his Supreme Championship match against LX-Tim at Lord of the Ring.

He makes his way to the ring, the sounds of the crowd more mixed than anything, they don’t know who to cheer for. He looks into the camera, fixing his eyebrows with his two hands before climbing onto the apron and jumping into the ring and sliding onto one knee to kneel in a supermanish stance.

MARK SANCTION
After all that, you’d think that he’d still be the bad guy in the scenario but that looks to have changed more recently.

MATT STEEL
Trevor knew that if he got into Austin’s head just a little bit, something different would start to show. I think the addition of Smith Jones is just an added bonus.

He then gets to his feet and climb onto the turnbuckles to acknowledge the crowd. Miller lifts one arm up with his hands opened wide and his eyes closed, bringing it down with authority before jumping down. He removes his crown and his vest, placing it out on the apron. He stays in the corner for the start of the match.

Blue lights flicker as the beginning of Citizen Erased by Muse begins to play through the sound systems. Smoke overwhelms the stage as the guitar riff in the intro of the song rings out. The camera’s pan to Austin Carter emerging from the bottom of the stage via the platform, as slight cheers from the crowd being to fill the arena, at least the kids still love him. Carter steps out onto the stage, turning around so the crowd can see his backside. He brings his arms up, striking his chest twice. Afterwards, he spreads both his arms out, as if he were a cross. On one hand, he makes the usual peace sign. On the other, he has a firm grasp of the crutch that was used as a disadvantage for him in his last match. Before bringing his arms down, he turns his head to view the ring. The camera’s catch his somber mood.

HANA RAMIEREZ
And his opponent… From Chicago, Illinois, Weighing in at 213 lbs, He is the "Windy City Daredevil"... AUSTIN!!! CARTER!!!

MARK SANCTION
Carter’s got a hold of that crutch that Miller used, he might be prepared to use it.

MATT STEEL
A.J. Morales said it best, with Carter channeling this so-called “darkside”, this may be very unfavorable for Trevor.

He proceeds to walk to the edge of the ring, you can see his left knee heavily bandaged - he stops and begins to jump and shake his head and proceeds to walk to the steel steps and run up them. He then walks on the apron almost to the other turnbuckle and walks backwards, back to the other. He enters the ring climbing to the nearest turnbuckle, he shoots both arms, including the one with the crutch, up. His music fades as he jumps down. He places the crutch on the apron on the outside, staying in his corner, he doesn’t plan to use it this early in the match.

MARK SANCTION
The referee in charge, Jack Tickles, who refereed the Supreme Championship match at Lord of the Ring. He’s acting like a traffic cop, so to speak, for this matchup.

Both Miller and Carter stand face to face for what seems like the last time, in the middle of the ring.

MARK SANCTION
Remember there are no rules, no pinfalls or submissions. The only way to win this match is by making your opponent say the words: “I quit”.

Jack Tickles stands between them, with his arms out wide, asking both men, individually, of their readiness to begin the match. Both men nod. Tickles cues for the bell.

DING, DING, DING!

MARK SANCTION
With the bell, this “I quit” match begins. Anything goes. The only way… the only reason the referee is there is to catch those two words.

Even after the bell, the staring match continues between both men. Meanwhile, the crowd can’t help but express their ardor, though it's hard to make out what they say, the feel makes it seem like we’re in the middle of fight club.

MATT STEEL
Like you’ve said, Mark, anything goes. Austin and Trevor could do whatever they want to each other just as long as it’s enough to make the other quit.

MARK SANCTION
The tension palpable here on the cruiseline.

Trevor mouths at Austin to “do something already” and with that invitation Austin lunges towards Trevor as the two exchange in a heated throw of blows.

MARK SANCTION
Carter and Miller staring daggers at each other before they release their wrath on each other.

Miller’s the first to go to the ground but is quick to get to his feet, only to be knocked down again with a forearm club by Carter. Miller doesn’t stay down for a second before he’s on his feet again, this time Carter jumps towards him, knocking him on his back then repeatedly striking Miller in the face with mounted punches.

MARK SANCTION
Carter all over Miller, Thesz press, ground and pound!

Austin’s up on his feet from the press but as is Miller who throws him between the ropes and onto the apron on the outside, trying to recover from a bad start. He returns to Austin only to get caught with a spear through the ropes as Austin goes back to the mounted punches.

MARK SANCTION
Carter is not holding anything back early on!

MATT STEEL
This is a fight!

Miller rolls away from Austin, getting to his feet as he reaches the corner. Austin follows but Miller meets him with a kick to the gut and a large right hook. Miller drags Carter to the corner, going for an elbow strike but Austin moves out of the way just in time. Now Miller is in the corner, receiving an onslaught of blows by Carter.

MARK SANCTION
An assault by Carter…

With Miller sliding down to the bottom turnbuckle, Austin stomps at Trevor, wherever he can strike.

MARK SANCTION
Putting the boots now to Trevor Miller, unloading elation, unleashing 389 days of pent up rage!

MATT STEEL
Ya know what, I’m starting to like this new no nonsense Carter.

Carter stops the stomping and walks to the other side of the ring, looking out at the crowd in attendance, who cheer his assault on Miller. Regardless of how Austin is acting currently, they remember everything he’s gone through to get to this moment in time.

MARK SANCTION
Tickles letting Carter get his ounce of flesh because remember the official is only there to catch the words, “I quit”.

Austin returns to Miller in the corner, pulling his arm for the irish whip but in between this Miller reverses it pulling Carter towards the opposite corner. Carter reverses it at last minute, sending Miller colliding with the turnbuckles on the other side. The impact sends Miller rolling through and leaning on the set of ropes, Austin sends him over the ropes with the clothesline. Austin sets off, running to the opposite set of ropes, usually going for the suicide dive but this time he has other plans.

MARK SANCTION
What could the Daredevil be looking to do here?

Instead, he baseball slides out onto the apron. Up on his feet, he readies himself. Miller has yet to turn around, he’s busy trying to recuperate. But when he does, Austin signals his launch making a gun with his fingers and mouth the words “BANG!” before cocking his hand back and he’s off.

MARK SANCTION
DAREDEVIL…

Running off the apron, flipping forward on the way as he collides with Trevor using the back of his body.

MARK SANCTION
DOING DAREDEVIL THINGS!!!! A beautiful Somersault Plancha off the apron and Carter is looking to do whatever it takes, including wiping out Miller.

Back on his feet, Austin looks around at the crowd again, his eyes especially drawn to a kid with a sign saying “I WANT OZZO BACK!”. A sign that Austin stares at it quite intensely before shaking his head and returning to Miller.

MARK SANCTION
Carter having a moment for reflection, it seems.

MATT STEEL
I don’t know why? It’s kind of a wrong time for it, seeing as he’s in the middle of a match and all.

Austin continues to shake his head as he lifts Miller to his feet with his beard. He strikes him with a left hook. Miller goes down to his knees and Carter grabs hold of his beard again and then another strike. This time Miller falls into the railing holding the fans back, before Austin can repeat his previous action, Miller hits him with a knee to the gut. Miller follows it up with a club to the back, sending Carter to his knees.

MARK SANCTION
Miller, trying to gain the upper hand.

Miller brings Carter to his feet, grabbing his arm, he whips him towards the railing but Austin reverses, sending Miller over it and into the crowd. Cameras catch when Miller cries in pain as he’s just hit his back against the deck.

MARK SANCTION
Carter, sending Miller into the XWA Universe!

We return to Carter, still near the ring, waiting for the right moment. When he finds it, he charges towards the crowd, jumping over the railing and onto Miller. Both men fall to the ground.

MARK SANCTION
CARTER! Wiping out Miller!

Tickles joins the two men in the crowd as Carter climbs onto Miller with another set of mounted punches. Carter stops to get the microphone from the officials hands. He turns the microphone upside down, using the top of it to hammer down on Trevor’s head. He does the action twice before lifting the microphone up to his lips.

AUSTIN CARTER
QUIT! SAY YOU QUIT!

TREVOR MILLER
You’re gonna have to try harder…

Before Trevor can finish his say, Austin goes back on the attack with the microphone. Austin stops, crawling over to a fans seat, using it to get to his feet. He walks over to Miller, lifting him up again by his beard. Miller takes the advantage, pushing Carter’s back into the railing.

MARK SANCTION
Carter’s back smashed into the barricade by Miller.

This gives Miller some time to regroup as he is seen holding his head on his return to Carter. Miller locks Carter into a front facelock, draping Carter's near arm over his shoulder.

MARK SANCTION
Oh no, Miller…

Miller then lifts the opponent into a vertical position over the railing, letting Austin’s abdomen slam against the metal.

MARK SANCTION
OHHH!!!! Dropping Carter across the railing.

From the slam, Miller keeps the hold on, not letting Carter leave the railing as he resorts to clobbering at Carter’s back.

MARK SANCTION
The sickening thuds!

MATT STEEL
Look at the face of Miller…

Miller finally breaks the hold, pushing Carter off the railing.

MATT STEEL
Look how angry he is, absolutely furious.

Miller takes a breather, placing his foot on a nearby chair as he looks to Carter to see what more he can do.

MARK SANCTION
Whatever you think about Trevor Miller, make no mistake that he is one of the more dangerous stars we have here at XWA.

Trevor jumps over the railing, effortlessly. Going back to Carter now, he lifts him up, scooping Carter horizontally before dropping to one knee, slamming Carter's back on Miller’s other knee.

SANCTION/STEEL
OHHHH!!!!

MARK SANCTION
Devastating backbreaker by Miller on Carter.

Miller crawls over to Carter, who’s rolling in pain from the breaker. Miller yells to the Official to place the microphone near his mouth.

TREVOR MILLER
Say it, you piece of shit! SAY IT!

Carter rolls onto his stomach, trying to get on all fours with Referee Jack Tickles keeping the microphone near his face.

AUSTIN CARTER
… Make me.

A smile comes upon Carter face as a look of disbelief is shown on Miller’s face. Nevertheless, Miller strikes Carter with a boot to the head before walking over to the ring. He looks under the ring to find a weapon but nothing interests him. Bringing down the apron cover, he looks around and spots the crutch, the same one he used to attack Austin once upon the last Supershow.

MARK SANCTION
Oh no… Miller’s eyeballing that crutch.

MATT STEEL
It’s just sitting there waiting to be used, I don’t see why he wouldn’t be eyeing it.

Once he goes to run for it, Carter meets him in the middle with a bicycle knee strike to the noggin. The strike leaves Miller a groggy mess but nonetheless, Austin takes advantage of it. Grabbing hold of Miller head, Carter walks him over to the corner post nearest commentary. He then slams Miller’s head against the steel.

MATT STEEL
Oh! Did you hear that?!

MARK SANCTION
Carter gaining back control in the “I quit” match…

Carter doesn’t stop there. Instead, he grabs hold of Miller’s head again, this time walking him towards the commentary desk.

MARK SANCTION
OH GOD!

MATT STEEL
WATCH OUT!

Sanction and Steel move out of the way in the knick of time as Miller is thrown over the announcer table and onto where they were seated. You can hear the overhead mics being taken off as cameras catch Miller struggling to get up from the ground. it doesn’t take long for the crowd to get rowdy.

MARK SANCTION
Carter just sent Miller into our broadcast table location!

CROWD
HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!

Carter removes the table topper from the desk before climbing on it. He stands tall, he’s about to grab Miller before a fan yells, “You’re the man, Ozzo!” which is followed by the crowd agreeing with the man as they begin to cheer for their beloved Daredevil. That look from earlier comes back as Austin looks around at the Cruise Goers. He shakes off the crowd attention, returning his focus to Miller, who’s trying to use the desk to assist him.

MARK SANCTION
And right now, it is Austin Carter standing on the broadcast table…

Carter brings Miller on to the table with him.

MATT STEEL
… Austin Carter is on with very bad intentions. He hates Trevor Miller. Who do you hate more than a friend who’s stabbed you in the back?

Carter places Miller’s head between his thighs, using his tights to lift him up to his feet.

MATT STEEL
This is not going to end well.

He tries to get him up to his shoulders but Miller doesn’t budge, blocking the whole ordeal. Austin tries again but still no luck with Miller wrapping his left are around Carter’s right leg.

MARK SANCTION
Miller, desperately trying to fend off any advances...

Miller then reverses it, picking up Carter and placing him over his shoulder. Trevor holding Carter in place by holding his leg with one arm and appling a headlock with the other. Trevor turns his attention to the Battleground Network’s announce table.

SANCTION/STEEL
NOOOO!!!!

MARK SANCTION
MILLER!!!

This sends him running towards it, jumping when he reaches the end, dropping to a seated position as he drives Carter’s head and upper back into the table.

MARK SANCTION
OH MY GAAAWWDDD!!!

Jack Tickles checks on both men, mostly checking on Carter who endure more of the pain. Miller crawls over to Carter, stealing the microphone from Tickles hands.

TREVOR MILLER
Say I quit now, you prick!

AUSTIN CARTER
Go to hell!

Miller throws the microphone at Carter. He walks backwards as he thinks about his further steps all while talking to himself, the cameras catch it, “Go to hell, huh? I’ll make sure you go with me!”

MARK SANCTION
Miller, threatening to make this match more brutal than it has been.

Miller, then pulls Carter up by the strands of his hair, he drags him over to the steel steps. Miller pulls Carter’s head back, yelling into his ear, “You want me to go to hell, huh? How bout you go first!” With that, Miller forces Carter’s head down to the steel, but Carter blocks the attempt with his hands. Instead, Carter strikes at Miller’s abdomen with a back elbow and then another. Carter steps back, grabbing hold of Trevor’s bald head and slamming it into the steel instead.

MARK SANCTION
OOHH!! Miller’s head just bouncing off the steel.

The impact from the slam sends Miller stumbling back to his feet. Carter’s behind him, tossing him back into the ring, sliding in after him. Upon entry into the ring, Carter’s quick on his feet as he boots the back of Miller’s head. Carter takes a breather. He looks around the ring, contemplating his next steps. Then he sees it.

MARK SANCTION
Oh… boy! Austin’s got his sight set!

Trevor looks up at Austin, he knows what's about to happen. In his efforts to prevent any further attack, Trevor starts crawling, faster than he's ever crawled before, Austin's not to far behind.

MARK SANCTION
Both men going for that crutch, racing for it.

MATT STEEL
Using that crutch may be the best way to try to get the other to quit, if anything.

Sadly for Trevor, Austin's beat him to it and it's as if the scene has gone to slow motion. With Austin picking up the crutch, Miller is shown stunned - he knows the damage coming his way. Austin turns around to see Trevor look up at him and that's when a smiles comes across his face. Trevor goes to his knees, begging, pleading for some mercy.

MARK SANCTION
Now he wants to beg for mercy. After everything he's done to Austin, I don't think he'll be getting it.

MATT STEEL
You ever heard of the story of the thief on the cross who begged for forgiveness and went to heaven? This is Miller's version of that.

MARK SANCTION
Never took you for a religious man, Matt.

MATT STEEL
I'm not. I just googled it.

Back in the ring, Austin begins to think about his actions, whether he should or shouldn't. During this, Trevor feels comfortable to stand and reason with him.

TREVOR MILLER
Oz… Ozzo… Don't you remember? Remember how we were? We were like brothers…

MARK SANCTION
Oh, wow. Miller's such a hypocrite.

TREVOR MILLER
… We were best friends and you threw it all away. We could've been on top of the world and you fucked it up! IT'S ALL YOUR FAU-

*SMACK*

Carter swings wildly, striking anywhere he can on Miller's body with the object, to the point that Miller falls back to the ground. Carter doesn't let up on the striking, not even for second. Austin calls on Tickles to ask Miller the hard hitting question he's been asking Carter throughout the match. This happens as Carter continues his assault on the body of Miller.

MARK SANCTION
Austin's releasing all the anger he's had built up. All the anger caused by Miller, himself.

Miller avoids the questioning by rolling out of the ring, giving himself a break from the attack. He stumbles towards the ramp, moving towards the stage. Austin slides out of the ring, he's not finished with him.

MARK SANCTION
And the match moves back to the outside as this “I quit” match continues.

Austin's quick to reach Miller as he stops him on the edge of the stage with a crutch to the back of Miller's left knee, take it as payback. Miller goes down, clutching at his knee but the punishment isn't over yet.

MARK SANCTION
Austin Carter! Now it's his turn to take out the knee.

MATT STEEL
This is… that is just going to far. Carter's trying to ruin Miller's life!

MARK SANCTION
As if Miller hasn't ruined Carter's?!

Carter turns Miller over to his back, dragging him by his legs over to the edge of the ramp, resting the left leg so that it's bent against it.

MARK SANCTION
What's Carter thinking here…

Austin jumps off the ramp and readies himself with the crutch as if it was a baseball bat. As he goes to swing, he's stopped.

MARK SANCTION
What the hell is he doing here?!

MATT STEEL
Maybe he's come to coach Austin through the finish.

What Sanction and Steel are referring to is the appearance of only one, Smith Jones. He and Carter make eye contact almost instantly when he walks out of gorilla position. Smith smirks, knowing that his work within Carter is being done. He's come out here to show everyone just how much Carter's changed.

SMITH JONES
Reveal your darkness to everyone, Ozzo! Show them the true Austin Carter! Finish him!

With that command, Austin swings the crutch at the front of the knee as it collides against the ramp, swinging as wild as before! Smith continues to coach him on.

SMITH JONES
Again! They're not convinced! Do it again! Reveal your true self!

The onslaught continues, up until the crutch breaks apart. Carter tosses the weapon aside and climbs onto the ramp as Miller scoots back away from the edge, wincing as he grasps his knee. Carter walks around Miller, stalking his prey. Carter then grasps the left leg of the opponent. Miller begs for Carter to let go but Carter ignores him, kicking the back of the thigh. Carter then does a spinning toe hold and grasps the other leg, crossing them. As he does so, he falls to the mat, applying pressure to Miller's crossed legs with his own, more importantly the left leg.

MARK SANCTION
Carter's got the figure-four locked in!

Tickles is right there on the ramp with both men, with the microphone to Trevor's lips.

JACK TICKLES
Trevor, what do you say?

TREVOR MILLER
*ARGH* No…

MATT STEEL
Miller better hope that Carter doesn't bridge it…

Don't speak so soon, Steel. In fact that's exactly what Carter does, falling back to let his hand catch his fall as his body is pushed over his shoulders to straighten his arms in the process.

MATT STEEL
Spoke too soon, didn't I?

Yes, yes he did and Miller's suffering, not because of Steel but because of the lock that's putting more pressure on the knee. Still, Tickles is there to ask him the question.

JACK TICKLES
What do you say now, Trevor?

Trevor pushes the microphone away from his face and tries his utmost best to get his legs untied from the knot it is currently in. He slams down on Carter's legs with closed fist but he doesn't budge. Tickles asks him again…

JACK TICKLES
Come on, Trevor. What do you say?

TREVOR MILLER
I quit! I quit!

MARK SANCTION
Miller quits! Miller gave in!

DING, DING, DING!

HANA RAMIEREZ
Here's your winner… AUSTIN!!! CARTER!!!

Carter doesn't release the hold at first, it takes Tickles telling him that he's already won for him to let go.

MARK SANCTION
Well, I don't know what state Austin's in but I'm sure he's satisfied with his win tonight.

Smith is there to help Austin up, he looks rather pleased with the whole ordeal.

MATT STEEL
Well regardless of what state he’s in, Austin no longer needs to worry about Trevor Miller.

Trevor is currently being treated by medics. Taking off his kneepad, they place an ice pack on his knee to help sooth the pain for the time being. Meanwhile, Smith and Austin pass him, ignoring him completely. As they get close to the entrance opening, Smith stops Austin. The camera's catch Smith whispering into the latter's ear, that's when they both turn around. Now Smith becomes audible.

SMITH JONES
We can't let him off that easy, Austin. He took 8 months off your career and for what? You could've been champion by now but he took that away from you too. Finish what you've started.

MARK SANCTION
Trevor Miller has been through enough, Smith Jones is just trying to mess with Austin's head.

Carter pauses for a second, he's conflicted. On one hand, he's done enough to Trevor, he's still aware. On the other hand, Smith's got a point. I mean, Trevor practically ruined his life up to this point, he still holds the grudge. Smith sees the hesitation.

SMITH JONES
Just think. What would Smith Jones do?

Austin looks at Smith and then to Trevor and shakes his head, he begins walking towards Miller. He chose option B.

MARK SANCTION
Oh, come on! He's had enough!

MATT STEEL
Yeah, but I don't think Austin's had enough.

One of the medics tries to prevent Austin from getting any closer to Trevor but Austin shoves him out of the way. Two other medics try to stop him but it's already too late, he's already got his hold on Miller, more specifically his beard (Austin's seem to have a fascination with his beard), and they wouldn't dare stop him.

MARK SANCTION
Why do we even bother hiring these people if they're not going to keep the peace?

Austin begins dragging Miller towards the stage… but something stops him.

MARK SANCTION
Oh boy…

MATT STEEL
Why get security when you can send out the girlfriend?

The crowd cheers at the sight of Laura Stark. This leaves Austin to throwing Miller to the ground and turning all of his attention to her.

CROWD
STARK STARK STARK STARK STARK STARK STARK STARK!!!

Laura looks around a bit, trying to ignore the chants. She just wants to focus in on Austin right now.

AUSTIN CARTER
What are you doing? Get out of here!

LAURA STARK
Austin… please. This isn't you!

Meanwhile, Smith Jones is taken aback by the interaction, chessin’ as he crosses his arms. His work is going well so far.

LAURA STARK
Where do you think this is going to get you? You think that he *Points to Smith* has all the answers for you? You think being Smith Jones is going to get you anywhere? Austin, look at me. You are not yourself. You're not.

Austin looks down, his hands go on his hips. His mind colliding with the fact of good or bad. Smith sees this. Seeing that Laura is trying to ruin his work, he confronts her.

SMITH JONES
You're ruining all my work! You're preventing his growth!

LAURA STARK
You're trying to ruin his life! Your delusions for him are useless!

Smith's had enough. He grabs Laura's arm, gripping it tight.

SMITH JONES
Austin's better off.

With that comment, Smith shoves Laura to the ground. It's not a rough shove that's enough to knock her out like it does for most referees. No, it's more of a get out of my way type. You get it.

MARK SANCTION
Jones just shoved Stark! Jones has gone too far with this.

SMITH JONES
You should've gone when you had the chance!

That's when Smith turns back to Austin. Unbeknownst to Smith, Austin saw the whole thing. Now Smith's gotta answer to him for his actions. Smith, now holding his hands up in the “I didn't mean to do it” motion.

SMITH JONES
She was trying to ruin you, Austin. Ruin our plans! You understand right?

Oh, Austin understands alright. He now understands what he must do. Austin nods his head at Smith and gestures for him to leave the scene of the crime. To which Smith has no problem doing.

MARK SANCTION
Austin's letting him go! What the hell! He's just assaulted Stark in front of him and he's just fine with if?!

Smith turns to the exit and begins to walk towards it. He stops midway, turning to Stark, he smiles wide, showing them pearly whites before returning on his course to the backstage. However, not far behind is Austin Carter, pursuing him without him even noticing.

MATT STEEL
Don't speak so soon…

When Smith gets closer to the exit, Austin picks up speed, slamming Smith into the LED screen.

MARK SANCTION
Carter!

Austin turns Smith over to his back. Grabbing the collar of his shirt, Austin pulls back his arm, forming a fist with his hands. Though, he hesitates. Instead, he mouths, “Not yet” before headbutting Smith.

Austin gets off of Smith and backs away. Laura, who was helped to her feet by the medics nearby, meets with him. They both walk to the backstage as screens fade to black.
