Lx-Tim vs. Austin Carter vs. Garland Lynx

When it comes to amazing runs in 2016, Lx-Tim has to be mentioned. The Latino Extremist came out and gave it his all every week and after three months he still reigns tall as the XWA Television Champion! His latest casualty was Garland Lynx at Legends, The Architect of Destruction wasn't able to escape Legends with the Television Title, but he's made it clear that is still his goal in 2017! Austin Carter is also looking for a way to earn himself some gold after coming up short against Adam Fenric, and when you add in the rumors of the XWA owners looking /very/ closely at this match for future World Title opportunities, and this one won't be for the weak of heart!

Can Lx-Tim take a step closer to a World Title shot? Can Garland Lynx prove just how much of a monster he is? Or will the Windy City Daredevil prove he's ready for an incredible year?

Deadline for matches is 22nd January at 11:59 Eastern Standard Time.
Voting will start at this time and conclude on 29th January at 11:59 Eastern Standard Time.
[CST is one hour earlier. GMT is five hours later.]

Postby Jessi » Sun Jan 22, 2017 8:09 pm

The first PPV of the year 2017 and it is off with a bang. Live from the Battlezone in Chicago, Illinois, XWA brings to you, UNTOUCHABLE! And the night has no signs of stopping as we head for the next match on the card, a Hardcore Triangle Elimination Match in a non-title match between LX Tim, Garland Lynx and Austin Carter. We return from commercial as the screens fades into the ring to show the beautiful Hana Ramierez, who is standing by for introductions:

DING, DING, DING!

Hana Ramierez
The following match is scheduled for one fall and is a Hardcore Triangle Elimination Match…

The titantron turns on to display a Puerto Rican flag flapping in the wind, having the initials L-X-5 appear on the screen. Charisma by Wasp hits the public announcements system as the camera pans around the view the crowd as everything is currently seen in a monochrome setting. Turning toward the stage, everything returns to color to have multi-colored flashing lights shining forth. The Portrait of Greatness escalates onto the top stage with his head looking downward. The crowd boos to finally seeing the Spanish superstar in view.

Mark Sanction
There he is. The longest reigning Television Champion in XWA history.

Matt Steel
I have to admit, that man has had quite the year last year, and I wouldn’t blame him if he wanted to go for the same feat this new year.

Hana Ramierez
Introducing first… Hailing from Brooklyn, New York by way of Allentown, Pennsylvania… Weighing in at 240 lbs…

The History Maker, at this moment, quickly raises both arms to point to the sky as a burst of flames and pyro shoots upward. The brightness accentuates his unique appeal further as he is all arrogantly smiles when looking down to the ring.

Hana Ramierez
He is the XWA Television Champion… ‘The Latin Extremist’.... LX-TIIMMMM!!

He treks down the ramp beating his chest and ripping a sign with a negative view on him. LX then runs and slides into the ring in an Edge-like fashion as he then jumps to his feet. He beats his chest with a single fist and shouts "I'm simply glorious"! The Brooklyn native decides to ascend a corner turnbuckle, showing all his signature Spread Arms Taunt as the camera moves in for a slow motion moment. The Illustration of Innovation drops down afterward with an overly-confident smile etched on his face.

Blue lights flicker as the beginning of Black by Sevendust begins to play in through the sound systems. Smoke overwhelms the stage as the intro of the song rings out.

“VOICES CALL, THEY CALL OUT MY NAME, MY NAME, MY NAME”

Hana Ramierez
And his opponents: Introducing first… Hailing from Chicago, Illinois… Weighing in at 205 lbs…

Mark Sanction
And here’s a man whom many see as the underdog in this bout. Coming off a loss at Legends, Carter looks to redeem himself in front of his hometown crowd.

A pop goes off in the crowd as the hometown hero is mentioned, the camera’s pan to Austin Carter emerging from the bottom of the stage via platform, as cheers from the crowd being to fill the arena. Carter steps out onto the stage, turning around so the crowd can see his backside.

”WELL, BOY LET ME TELL YA, YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT I’VE SEEN.”

Pyrotechnics go off as he spreads both his arms making peace signs with his hands, as if his body were a cross.

”THEY SAY A DEVIL LIVES IN MY SOUL.
I PROMISE NOT TO LET HIM TAKE CONTROL.”

Hana Ramierez
He is ‘The Windy City Daredevil’... AAAUUSSTTINNNNN CCAARTEERRR!!

He proceeds to walk to the edge of the ring - he stops and begins to jump and shake his head and proceeds to walk to the steel steps and run up them. He then walks on the apron almost to the other turnbuckle and walks backwards, back to the other. He enters the ring climbing to the nearest turnbuckle, lifting both arms taunting his audience with peace signs. His music fades as he jumps down and walks to the corner nearest the announce table. He stops as he and Lx-Tim meet eyes, Carter winks at him. Tim rushes up to his face as Referee Kirk Samson keeps them apart. “TE VOY A MARTAR, CABRON! JUST WAIT!” All Carter does is smile at his angered opponent.

Mark Sanction
Huge amount of tension in that ring right now.

Matt Steel
We might not have to wait for the start of the match after all.

While all the tension in the ring is happening, “Panik Attack” plays over the PA to the loud ovation of boos. Heedless of the fans rancor he storms onto the stage and raises his arms bellowing a loud battle cry!

Hana Ramierez
Introducing their opponent… From Lafayette, Louisiana… Weighing in at 330 pounds… He is ‘The Demon Animal’... GARRLLANNDDD LYYNNXXXX!

Mark Sanction
Garland Lynx, as dominate as he seems, he has bad luck when it comes to trying to win the title. Of course, most of his attempts would be halted with some trick that was always up LX-Tim’s sleeve.

Matt Steel
And, today he tries for some redemption... Of his dignity.

He then charges down the ramp and leaps onto the apron as his pyro goes off, in the ring his opponents haven’t taken their eyes off each other. Garland storms to the middle of the ring and interrupts the confrontation with one of his own as he taunts as if he were cutting his throat at both men who have turned their attention to the monster before them as the music shuts off.

As tension cease, Referee Samson calls for the bell:

DING, DING, DING!

As soon as the bell rings, Lx-Tim is quick to exit the ring, once out of it he points to his head as he smiles, acknowledging his brilliance. He heads over to where Hana Ramierez is seated, “GET UP!” Ramierez gets up and away from Tim as he collects her chair and places it closer to the ring and plants himself down. He motion for his opponents to start the match, “GO ON, I’LL WATCH!”

Matt Steel
Now I don’t agree with a lot that Tim does. But this, this, is actually really smart.

In the ring, all Austin Carter can do is laugh and shake his head for his main priority now is to try and fend of the monster in front of him. The fight between Speed and Strength commences, Austin Carter and Garland Lynx tie up in a collar-and-elbow, this goes on for a mere 2 seconds before Lynx pushes Carter to the ground, showing off his superiority toward the smaller opponent. Carter looks up, into the monster's eyes and lets out a smile (one of those oh man type of smiles). Carter gets to all fours and then up to his two. He walks around Lynx, shaking his arm and shrugging at the crowd in Chicago. He then returns face to face with his opponent, he offers up his hand to tries for a test of strength against Lynx. Garland quickly pulls Austin close, he grabs his opponent's throat and trunks, and lifts him in the air as though Garland Lynx is about to deliver a chokeslam. However, as Lynx brings Carter back down to the mat he kneels, slamming Carter’s back onto his extended knee.

Mark Sanction
Garland proving his dominance early on. And you’d have to think that he’s sending a message to Tim.

Matt Steel
And LX doesn’t seem fazed.

Lynx walks over to the ropes nearest to where Lx-Tim sits and performs his usual cut throat taunt as Tim yawns at the big man’s work. Meanwhile, Carter uses the ropes to get to his feet, he see the distracted Lynx and waits for him to turns. Once he turns, Carter irish whips off the ropes and jumps on the monster, going for a DDT, but Lynx doesn’t budge. Surprisingly, Austin hangs onto his opponent's neck as he wraps his legs around the large man’s back, attempting to put Garland Lynx to sleep. Austin Carter leans back putting all his weight towards to the ground, dropping Lynx onto the canvas and Carter goes for the cover:

Mark Sanction
Carter has the monster down! Cover!

ON- KICKOUT!

Matt Steel
And… look at Carter fly!

Steel was talking about Austin Carter who is now on the other side of the ring due to the impact of the kickout by Lynx. Carter escapes to the outside and is now looking for an object, one that will aid him against his opponent. He finds 5x4 lumber and quickly make his way to the ring. Carter goes to hit Garland but Lynx is alert and stops him in his tracks. Carter puts his hands up, pleading with the big man to not hit him in his face. As Garland begins to swing, Carter dodges out of the way, rebounding off the ropes opposite Lynx and performs a body press as he slams his body against his opponent with the core of their body. This doesn’t bring the Monster down but it does knock down the piece of lumber. Carter goes for the body press again, and again but the second time, Garland Lynx catches him for a bearhug. “AHHHH!” Carter tries to release the hold by elbowing the top of Lynx’s head, but it only causes the squeezing to deepen. Outside of the ring, LX-Tim is nearly out of his seat, as he observes the match. Tim quietly slides into the ring and grabs hold of the lumber and wacks Garland’s back, breaking up the hold. An angered Lynx turns to view The Latin Extremist. LX-Tim smiles and wiggles his finger into the face of Lynx as he exits the ring, returning to his chair on the outside.

Mark Sanction
So… He doesn’t want to be in the match but he aids his opponent?

Matt Steel
I think LX wants to rid of the big man so he can have the smaller opponent, thus he is helping Carter.

During the distraction, Carter was seen aiding his back, stretching it out easing the pain. Garland Lynx returns to Carter, only to be hit with a Missle Dropkick to the face, this only staggers his opponent. Carter, again, rebound off the ropes. This time he hits the big man with a clothesline, putting all his weight into it. He rolls Lynx up for the cover:

Mark Sanction
Carter putting all his weight behind that one as he goes for the cover...

ONE…
TW- KICKOUT!

Matt Steel
He’s trying, I’ll give him that.

Austin Carter quickly gets to his feet and picks up the lumber and begins to weaponize his opponent. He hits lynx so many times that the crowd in Chicago begins to join in with a count: “1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7… 8!” Carter then focuses his eyes on LX-Tim, pointing the piece of lumber at him as he jocks it back as if it were a gun and he shot Tim. Carter drops the weapon and does a backflip on the mat landing on his fallen opponent. He tries for another Standing Moonsault but Garland Lynx moves out of the way, causing Austin Carter to slam against the canvas. Outside, Lx-Tim stands to applaud Carter and his failed attempt, “GOOD ONE!” Back in the ring, Lynx, who is up to his feet, grabs Carter by the hairs on his head and puts him in a front facelock with the near arm draped over the attacker's shoulder, Lynx then hooks his opponent's near leg behind Carter’s knee with his free arm and falls backwards, flipping Carter onto his back. Garland keeps the leg hooked and bridge to pin Carter in a cradle-like position:

Mark Sanction
Fisherman’s Suplex by Lynx! He holds on for the cover...

ONE…
TW- KICKOUT!

Lynx gets up and in the Referee’s face, “COUNT FASTER YOU FUCKER!” He return to Carter, again lifting him by his hair, he Irish whips him into the corner nearest the entrance ramp and goes to the corner across. He then charges towards Carter, delivering a boot to the head. Austin Carter then walks out of the corner as Lynx grabs hold of his opponent's wrists and crosses their arms under their chin. He then puts the opponent in a front facelock, scooping one his opponent's thighs with his free hand, lift him upside down, and then drops to his back, driving Austin Carter to the mat on the top of his head for a Straight Jacket Scoop Brainbuster, whilst still hooking the leg, Lynx holds on for the pin:

Mark Sanction
Writing On The Wall by Garland Lynx! He could eliminate Austin Carter here!

ONE…
TWO…
THR- ROPE BREAK!

Matt Steel
How in the fuck did he manage to do that?!

Mark Sanction
By some miracle, Austin Carter is STILL in this one!

It is not seen but under his mask, Garland Lynx is quite shocked. Shocked that Austin Carter still had enough in him to reach out for the rope. He begins to slam on the mat as if in a rabid state. He gets to feet, seemingly obsessed with Carter’s hair, Lynx use the strands to drag him into the middle of the ring. Lynx begins to knee Carter’s head before he applies an inverted facelock to his opponent, then he begins to falls backwards but Carter reverses it, spinning out of the old and executing an enzuigiri in the process, knocking both men down. During this time, Referee Kirk Samson begins his count:

ONE…
TWO…
THREE...

Both men begin to move, Lynx more than Carter, but there is movement in the ring by both competitors. Carter uses the ropes to get to a vertical base, while Lynx uses the canvas and his body to do the same. The men meet in the middle of the ring, trading blows, one after the other. Lynx overpowers the Windy city native with punches to the head, he whips him into the ropes, only for Carter to perform a handspring into the ropes, rebounding, performing a backflip and into a Tornado DDT:

Image

Mark Sanction
Impressive agility by the Daredevil.

Both men down once again but Carter instead rolls to the outside of the ring, this time he grabs hold of the steel steps. He slides them into the ring and positions them right where he wants them. He lifts the large man up into a crouching position, he ricochets off the ropes across from his opponents, after applying a front facelock, Carter pushes off the mat with his legs to flip Lynx and drive them onto the top of their head onto the steel steps that have been placed by Carter himself. Carter goes for the cover but LX-Tim rushes into the ring, pushing Carter off, he goes for the cover himself:

Image

Matt Steel
He’s actually smarter than I thought!

Mark Sanction
YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!

ONE…
TWO…
THREE!

Hana Ramierez
Garland Lynx has been eliminated!

Mark Sanction
Lx-Tim stole Austin Carter’s victory!

Matt Steel
I… I don’t even know what to say, to be honest.

LX-Tim demands the referee lift his hand in victory as Carter leans against the corner catching his breath. Samson goes to check up on Carter to see if he’s ready for the continuation of the match, to which he nods his head as he moves to both feet thanks to the help of the ropes. Samson gestures for the two men to square off as there is no need to call for the bell to sound. Just like the beginning of the match, the two competitors move around each other before a collar-and-elbow tie-up, Carter irish whips Tim into the ropes, Tim ducks as Carter jumps over he rebounds off the ropes only to be caught by a discus lariat by LX-Tim, flipping Carter over on the canvas. Tim taunts the crowd by salsa dancing. He then goes near the corner and bounces off the middle-rope to elevate himself to the top-rope from where they bounce off to perform a double jump moonsault but he misses his mark as Carter moves away. Carter is quick on the attack as he grabs one of his opponent's legs, and places their ankle between their thighs. Carter then lies on top of LX-Tim’s back and locks his arms around Tim’s head. Carter then pulls back stretching LX's back, neck, and knee.

Mark Sanction
Austin Carter locks in the STF!

“AHHHHH!” LX-Tim crawls with Carter on his back, he reaches the ropes, forcing Carter to break the hold. Once officially broken, Carter rolls off but the champion slides out of the ring, and looks for an object. He finds his best friend: A Kendo Stick. Inside the ring, Carter attempts for a high risk maneuver or Suicide Dive as some like to call it, but The Presentation of Devastation proves that he’s just that as he hits the Daredevil face first with the stick he found under the ring.

Matt Steel
Right on the money!

Mark Sanction
How long have you been waiting to say that?

Matt Steel
Just now thought of it...

He continues his assault with the Kendo Stick onto the back of Austin Carter. To viewers at home, it is easy to see the welts on his back from the ongoing assault. But, for the crowd in Chicago, all they can do is hear the yells of the Hometown hero’s pain. LX-Tim finishes his attack, as he sits Carter up against the barricade, he walks away for a moment before return to his opponent, hitting Carter with blindingly fast hit upward on the face. This opens up Austin Carter’s forehead.

Mark Sanction
Omnislash by LX-Tim and Carter is cut open.

Matt Steel
As much as I hate to say it, I’m quite impressed by LX-Tim tonight.

Tim begins to laugh at his work as he quotes the famous Steve Urkel, “OOPS, DID I DO THAT?!” He proceeds to point the stick at Carter, “LOOK AT YOUR HERO NOW, HE’S WEAK!” He goes to hit Carter once more with it, seeing that he hasn’t done enough damage. He stops right before striking Carter, noticing that he is smiling. Carter motion his hand, as if he were telling LX to keep going, and so he does. Hit after hit and by this point, Carter seems lifeless, then it happens. The stick finally breaks and this only angers LX-Tim more. Knowing he can’t win outside of the ring, He drags and rolls his opponent back into the ring. LX grabs Austin by the head, bending him forward against LX-Tim’s midsection, Tim grabs around his opponent's midsection latching onto Carter’s back, with his head to one side of Carter between their legs, keeping his legs around Austin Carter’s head. From this position LX pushes off the mat with his legs to flip his opponent over. As both wrestlers flip Tim uses his body weight to land in a seated position driving Carter's head down to the mat between his thighs. As Austin Carter lies in front of him, Tim rolls him up for the cover:

Destiny Destro-

Matt Steel
NOT LIKE THIS! NOT LIKE THIS!

ONE…
TWO…
THR- KICKOUT!

Matt Steel
I’m starting to think that Carter has some serious voodoo coming into play, I mean to kick out of that is just insane.

LX-Tim crawls away from his opponent in shock. He then gets up and looks to the referee, “THAT WAS THREE!” “HE KICKED OUT IN TIME, THERE’S NOTHING I CAN DO!” Returning to his opponent, LX-Tim drags Austin Carter into the middle of the ring. He then walks to the ropes, exiting to the apron, climbing to the top rope. Tim turns away from the ring, now facing the crowd he performs a 180° turn in mid-air and then a senton, flipping 630 degrees ((if you want to do the math) one full rotation (360 degrees) following by a somersault senton (270 degrees)) forward before landing… onto the canvas completely missing Austin Carter. Tim lands in a seated position, but the impact allows him to bounce up to his feet. Unaware that Carter is behind him, he is lifted off of the ground as Carter lifts him on his shoulders in an electric chair sitting position and then takes hold of his opponent and pulls him over his shoulder and down to the mat while falling to a sit out position so that LX-Tim lands on his upper back and neck between the legs of Austin Carter, facing towards him, resulting in a pin:

Hana Ramierez
Here is your winner… AAAUUSSTTINNNNN CCAARTEERRR!!

Matt Steel
That son of a bitch did it, I can’t believe he actually did it!

Mark Sanction
The odds were were not in his favor tonight and he proved critics wrong!

Carter lays in the ring, bruised and battered, but a winner. Kirk Samson offers help the Daredevil as he raises his hand in victory. Samson goes to collect the Television title to give to LX-Tim but Carter stops him and asks for it. Now with the title, He looks down at it and then looks up towards LX-Tim. He tosses the title as he announces, “I’M GONNA TAKE IT FROM YOU, WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!” He limps out of the ring, turning back to view his newly found rival, knowing this won’t be the last time they see each other.
The segment ends as we fade to Ads for the XWA World Domination Tour and the recently announced XWA Tag Team Classic.

Re: Untouchable: Lx-Tim vs. Austin Carter vs. Garland Lynx

Postby XxChronoTrigxX » Mon Jan 23, 2017 12:58 am

The metallic bell tolls three times to sound off what is sure to be a spectacular bout among three combatants, each with their own unique style and flair in wrestling.

Ramierez: “The following match is a Hardcore Triangle Elimination Match! Overseeing the contest will be Referee Jack J. Tickles!”

“Panik Attack” plays over the PA to the loud ovation of boos. Not giving a single damn, the monstrous entity storms onto the stage and raises his arms bellowing a loud battle cry!

Ramierez: “Introducing first from Lafayette, Louisiana. He comes weighing in at three hundred thirty pounds, he is The Architect of Destruction, GARRLLAAAAANNDDD LYYYYYYYNX!”

Sanction: “Garland Lynx is a monster who doesn’t seem to have the record of one. So far he only boasts one victory in his tenure in XWA.”

Steel: “How the hell does he find himself in these great matches then!?

Sanction: “Well the fact he is a seven foot one monstrosity certainly helps things. Plus he’ll be looking to get more redemption tonight against Lx-Tim, the man responsible for several of the losses in the ‘L’ column.”

Steel: “Well if there was anytime to have a breakout match, tonight should be it since he’ll have weapons at his disposal.”

The Demon Animal charges down the ramp and leaps onto the apron as his pyro goes off. Garland storms to the center of the squared circle and shows off his traditional cut throat taunt, with many responding in the Chicago crowd booing him.

Blue lights flicker as the beginning of Black by Sevendust begins to play in through the sound systems. Smoke overwhelms the stage as the intro of the song rings out.

“VOICES CALL, THEY CALL OUT MY NAME, MY NAME, MY NAME”

The camera’s pan to Austin Carter emerging from the bottom of the stage via platform, as cheers from the crowd being to fill the arena.

He proceeds to walk to the edge of the ring - he stops and begins to jump and shake his head and proceeds to walk to the steel steps and run up them.

Ramierez: “Coming to the ring, coming from Chicago, Illinois! He weighs in tonight at two hundred five pounds, he is The Windy City Daredevil, AAAUUSTIIIIIIIN CAAAAAAAARTEEEEEEEER!!!”

Carter then walks on the apron almost to the other turnbuckle and walks backwards, back to the other. He enters the ring climbing to the nearest turnbuckle, lifting both arms taunting his audience with peace signs. His music fades as he jumps down and walks to the corner nearest the announce table, hopping on to sit on the turnbuckle as he takes a gander at the seven footer parallel to him. Garland looks like he is fuming and raring to go. Austin smiles a bit nervously, hoping to not get on the bad side of the gargantuan.

Sanction: “Now if you want to talk about excellent talent, you are talking about Chicago’s own Austin Carter! Look at the 1,500 people shouting out and cheering him.”

Steel: “That ultimately isn’t going to help him in the long run when it comes to this Hardcore Triangle. God knows he faces a real test tonight against this monster and the XWA Television Champion.”

Sanction: “That is true. Lx-Tim has been by far one of the biggest talents XWA has signed in recent memory. One can only wonder though, with the fallout of Elite, where will his head be tonight? Right now though, one thing is for sure, Austin Carter can cement himself as a true contender if he pulls out a victory here tonight.”

Ramierez: “And the final opponent, coming from Brooklyn, New York by way of Allentown, Pennsylvania. He weighs in tonight at two hundred forty pounds. He is the current reigning XWA Television Champion. He is The History Maker, L! X! TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIM!”

Sanction: “You may not like his antics. You may not like the fact he is the longest reigning Television Champion to date. You do, however, have to acknowledge he has been one of the most prolific superstar athletes here today.”

Steel: “You’re Goddamn right he is! He has been on an absolute tear, decimating every opponent in his way. He has been an absolutely dominating champion and I doubt we’ll see anything different tonight.”

Sanction: “Dominating is a strong word. He has been coming out on top in the end of these matches, lest we forget though he has cheated his way to victory nearly every step of the way.”

Steel: “You do what you got to do, Mark. Speaking of which, look at what he is carrying!”

The History Maker, at this moment, quickly raises both arms to point to the sky as a burst of flames and pyro shoots upward. Extending from his hands, you clearly can see two Kendo Sticks, one in each hand showing he has come to play. The brightness accentuates his unique appeal further as he is all arrogantly smiles when looking down to the ring. He treks down the ramp beating his chest and smacks a sign away with one of the Kendo sticks. LX then runs and slides into the ring in an Edge-like fashion as he then jumps to his feet. The Latino swings the Kendo Sticks in the air, as if he was in a martial arts motion picture. The Spanish starlet points a singular wooden weapon at both Garland and Austin, shouting “LET’S DO THIS, PENDEJOS”!

Sanction: “He certainly looks to be excited, despite facing two men here tonight.”

Steel: “Why wouldn’t he be in high spirits? He doesn’t have to defend the belt, the hardcore variant is actually in his favor AND if that wasn’t enough he can prove why they call him ‘The Latin Extremist’ tonight!”

Sanction: “I don’t usually advocate Tim’s tactics, but they are allowed in full effect tonight in this Hardcore match up. Suffice it to say, he may have an advantage should the cards fall in the right direction.”

The referee detaches the XWA Television Championship Belt from his waist, handing it off to the referee so can ready himself for the belt. The Latin Extremist waits for the bell, glancing back and forth between the wily go getter Austin Carter and the behemoth Garland Lynx. The bell tolls thrice, signalling the genesis of the contest.

Sanction: “And here we go!”

Being Clint Eastwood as he can, Tim spouts “GO AHEAD, MAKE MY DAY”, whilst theatrically roving his Kendo Sticks. Garland Lynx, the seven foot one monstrosity trudges toward the Puerto Rican. Not wasting any time, LX swings the first right handed Kendo Stick, but The Architect of Destruction simply catches it and strips it away from him. The Brooklynite looks very shocked that he managed to pull that off. Not wanting to seem to taken aback, the Spanish superstar swings with the other Kendo Stick, however history repeats itself once again. This time instead of throwing it away, Lynx responds by fiercely swinging the stick directly in the ribs of the Television Champion! Tossing the stick down, The Demon Animal vigorously pushes Tim into the corner turnbuckle and wildly pelts him with malicious lefts and rights in the abdomen! Austin Carter genuinely looks surprised, for his jaw is nearly on the floor with how thing have started.

Sanction: “Well this is an interesting turn of events! Looks like Garland is trying to get that revenge in early!”

Steel: “Now you pull this out, Lynx!? For goodness sake, he looked more like a playful kitty when fighting Tim but now literally has him cornered. Get out of there, ya mook!”

The Windy City Daredevil is delighted in knowing he isn’t taking the brunt of Garland’s assault, but also realizes that this gives him ample time to assess what weapon he’ll access to move forward in their showdown. Exiting the four cornered coliseum, Austin rummages underneath to suddenly toss two barbed wire steel chairs into the ring. Not being finished underneath, Carter suddenly pulls out a replica of the Chicago Cubs 2016 World Series Baseball Bat! Standing up, he raises the Baseball Bat and the Illinois crowd goes absolutely nuts! Glancing back into the ring, Garland now has Tim atop his shoulders, looking to Powerbomb the Puerto Rican into oblivion. Ready for the descent, Lynx pushes forward but LX’s legs wrap around his adversary’s neck, countering him with a bewildering Headscissors Takedown! Carter rushes into the squared circle, where Garland is quick to get on his feet. The History Maker smiles and points behind Lynx and sarcastically shouts “Look out, behind you”! “I’m not falling for…” Swinging like it was the World Series finale game clincher, Austin strongly crushes the bat against the back frame of his monstrous opponent cutting him down to size with the wooden bat breaking across Lynx’s backside, causing pieces and chunks to fly everywhere. The History Maker comes flying in like a bat out of hell with one of the barbed wire steel chairs, swinging forward looking to behead the shorter individual. The hometown hero would be remiss to allow him to connect, so he ducks underneath as if he was Neo from The Matrix, before fluidly returning to proper posture and smacking a thunderous Enzuigiri against the side of the Puerto Rican’s skull to knock his lights out! The Illinois crowd frantically cheers, cuing a “LET’S GO CARTER, LET’S GO! *CLAP CLAP, CLAP CLAP CLAP* chant from the entire arena!

Sanction: “Listen to the one thousand, five hundred people in attendance tonight! They are in full support mode for the fan favorite and hometown hero, Austin Carter!”

Steel: “You have got to be kidding me! That guy is such a panderer! I hope the Windy City blows him straight out of this arena.”

Sanction: “You do know that The Windy City has nothing to do with the Weather, right?”

Steel: “Yeah, okay. Next thing you’re going to say is their Pizza isn’t terrible!”

During the time Mark is leering at Matt for his last statement, Carter rolls Garland onto his back and attempts a pin. One! Tw...kickout! Lx-Tim is seen rolling out of the squared circle, meanwhile Carter is pulling the heavy entity known as Garland to a vertical base. The Architect of Destruction suddenly pushes off of Austin, causing Carter to cling against the ropes. In one swift motion, Garland bolts forward in close proximity to Clothesline The Windy City Daredevil over the top rope and outside of the ring. The Television Champion sees Carter crash to the ground like a building collapsing in of itself, prompting him to stay low and high tail it around the ring since he knows Lynx will be coming out of the woodwork. Lynx does just so, exiting out of the squared circle via top rope and is ready to chomp Austin down. The hometown hero scrambles to his feet, stumbling to the corner of the security barricade trying to regain his bearings. Still livid with the Baseball Bat scenario, The Demon Animal charged forward like bulls on parade, rampaging through Austin with a devastating Spear that sends both him and Carter right through the barricade! “OOOOOOOOOOOO” sounds echo out from the Chicago crowd from witnessing Austin getting driven down.

Sanction: “Garland is a one man wrecking crew right now! You can bet Austin will be feeling that for the rest of the week!”

Steel: “Man, last time I saw someone get run through that hard was at a Swinger’s party in Thailand!”

Sanction: “Oh goodness, I don’t want to know the story.”

Lx-Tim is back in the picture, carrying a small brown pouch with “LX” embroidered on it. Clearly, Tim already concocted a plan ahead of time as per usual with the crafty Latino. The History Maker saunters toward the laid out bodies and stop a couple feet short of them, before spilling the small pouches’ contents on the floor to reveal myriads of sharp silver thumbtacks! The Television Champion pulls Carter up from their wreckage, more than happy to lay out the fan favorite of the night. At this very second, the vigilant Chicagoan flummoxes his Spanish adversary by means of a swift Sit Out Jawbreaker to fend him away. Shaking off the cobwebs, The Windy City Daredevil digs down deep and uses nearly all his energy to lunge his leg forward to the turning Puerto Rican and floor Tim into the thumbtacks with his signature Superkick known as… “Welcome to Chicago, Motherfucker”! Carter smiles in utmost glee, knocking the Latino down with the signature maneuver he named after the words he just projected toward Tim. The crowd is emphatically cheering, however Garland is back up and on approach. Going with the intelligent route, Austin runs and slides into the squared circle and grab one of the barbed wire steel chairs in the ring. The Demon Animal fears not and ascends the apron, immediately entering the ring. This may have not been the most intelligent of decisions for him though, for Austin tosses the barbed wire steel chair at Garland and he mistakenly catches it. It’s a mistake, for the Windy City Daredevil jumps up and executes a fantastical Savate Kick to precisely connect the chair into Lynx’s masked face! Garland drops down like a bowling ball slamming the alley, prompting Carter to exit to the apron and ascend the top rope. He waves his index finger about, riling up the crowd to cheer more in support. Slowly standing up with great balance, the hometown hero leaps off with excellent gallanty and elegantly descends down to smash downward with his majestic “Chicago Star Press” finisher! The crowd begins chanting “CARTER! CARTER! CARTER!”, whilst he hooks the leg looking for the pin fall.

ONE!!

TWO!!!

THREE!!!!!

Ramierez: “Garland Lynx has been eliminated!”

Sanction: “We are down to two men and the crowd is going crazy!”

Steel: “Who would have thought that this pint sized runt could still be in the match. Nevertheless actually manage to eliminate Garland Lynx single handedly!”

Sanction: “One thing is for sure, Austin is showing himself an exciting talent here in XWA.”

Carter jumps up in excitement and fifteen hundred strong cheer their lungs out as if he just won the match. Garland rolls out of the ring and is escorted out of the arena to ensure he doesn’t interfere for the rest of the contest between the two athletes that remain. Carter points out to the crowd, beats his chest in excitement and points out of the ring shouting “YOU’RE NEXT, TIM”! However, Tim is nowhere to be found in the vicinity he is pointing at. All you see is a trail of small trickles of blood that seeped out from the thumbtacks that stuck out from his body. Looking confused, The Windy City Daredevil sees some fans pointing behind him, but alas it is too late for him. Snatched by the waist, The History Maker delivers a sickening German Suplex that lands Carter on one the the barbed wire steel chairs that still remain in the squared circle! Twirling to his feet, The Crown Jewel shows he hasn’t lost any luster and delivers another punishing German Suplex on the other barbed wire steel chair. Tim rotates with the malicious German Suplexes, executing them to perfect precision with each maneuver onto the wire wrapped weapons. The Presentation of Devastation delivers his final sickening German Suplex, completing his signature “Alexander Hamilton” attack, but instead of a release he bridges for the pin fall attempt!

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE-NO!

Sanction: “What heart and resilience! After that crazy chain of German Suplexes, Carter shown he has the intestinal fortitude to remain in the match even after excruciating punishment!”

Steel: “He’ll be lucky if he can even stand after that attack! Tim keeps proving why he is such a great champion. Puerto Rican’s and their magical powers are at work!”

Sanction: “Yeah, and...wait what? Did you say Puerto Rican and magical powers? You do know that isn’t a thing, right?”

Steel: “Suuure. Next thing you’ll tell me XWA is going to hire a hundred year old man to the roster.”

The XWA Television Champion slowly rises up to his feet, somewhat exhausted from the energy expelled from using all those German Suplexes in succession. After gaining some breath back, The Illustration of Innovation begins hysterically laughing and points down at Austin Carter. “LOOK AT YOUR FALLEN HERO”, bellows the Puerto Rican superstar, clearly feeling overconfident like he usually does whilst turning away from Austin and ridiculing the crowd. The Chicago crowd resoundingly boos the brash Latino, but soon turn to cheers when a sudden kip up displays a quick resurgence of energy and adrenaline before Tim gets clocked by one of the wired chairs that Tim previously used against Carter! Lx-Tim crumbles down like a cookie falling apart, whilst the hometown hero drops down from being drained of everything he has. The camera moves to show the welts, cuts and bruises on Austin’s back, showing the type of punishment he received from La Leyenda Espanola. The Windy City Daredevil finds the wherewithal to at least roll out of the squared circle to find some kind of solace. The angered Brooklynite is peeved and languidly pushes up, before exiting to the apron so he can chase Austin down. Knowing he has the crowd on his side, Austin climbs the unbroken portion of the security barricade, ultimately dropping backwards to fall onto the crowd as they carry him off! Tim looks on shocked at what he is seeing, meanwhile Carter is waving goodbye to LX as his security blanket carries him up, up and away!

Sanction: “Carter is crowd surfing to safety! What an ingenious way to make sure you get time to gain your bearings by using the fans that love you!”

Steel: “I call foul! Tim is out there by himself and Carter has fifteen hundred people on his side. I call that odds stacked against him!”

Sanction: “All of this is fair game tonight, Matt! Right now, Austin has got himself a leg up in this match!”

Although he wants to give immediate chase, the Puerto Rican realizes that is precisely what Austin Carter wants. Instead, The Illustration of Innovation rummages underneath the ring and a sudden smirk is etched on the tanned face of Tim. The New York native pulls out his trademark black and blue colored “LX Gloves”, which has thumbtacks sticking out of each knuckle. The XWA Television Champion slips them on with delight, whilst walking to the barricade ready to bring the heat. The Latin Extremist hops over and walks up the stairway, getting popcorn and all sorts of usual vendor treats tossed at him. He finally reaches to the near top of the zone, where Carter is currently located. The Windy City Daredevil doesn’t realize Tim currently has the LX Gloves on and enters an exchange of flurrying fists. Austin delivers a powerful right, however Tim retorts with a vengeful left that cuts above the left eyelid of his adversary, causing a small trickle of blood to flow outward. Carter blocks an incoming right, before grabbing a hard shelled taco from one of the fans and smashing the delicious food into Tim’s mouth, making him choke a bit on some of the small portions of the shell! Lx-Tim stumbles back, coughing everything out, whereas Carter uses this time to connect a phenomenal Roundhouse Kick to send LX stumbling down the steps!

Steel: “I absolutely hate that fan and Carter right now! Disgusting and vile! How could they waste a perfectly good Taco like that!?”

Sanction: “A bit unconventional but it seemed to do the trick! He just needs to bring this back to the ring and he might just pull it off.”

Steel: “Right now, I hope not! Besides, that was racist as balls man! Smacking him with the food of his homeland!”

Sanction: “Puerto Rican’s aren’t Mexi...you know what, let’s get back to commenting on what really matters.”

Steel: “Yeah, like ejecting that fan out of the ring! That was clearly a Doritos Locos Taco and outside food is absolutely forbidden!”

Sanction: “Uuuuugh.”

Carter high fives all the fans down the steps, giving chase to the Puerto Rican. Out of nowhere, a Spanish man with a dark brown afro ferociously smashes a steel pipe across the back of Austin’s head! Carter rolls down the steps like the boulder in Indiana Jones’ Raiders of the Lost Ark. The crowd belts an insurmountable shower of boos, whilst Tim languidly clambers to a footed base and sees the Spanish counterpart and smiles. The other Spanish individual closes in and give the Television Champion a big hug, causing the crowd to boo even harder than ever!

Sanction: “That’s Grandeza, Tim’s cousin that he introduced to the world last Massacre! He shouldn’t be out here!”

Steel: “Weren’t you the one saying everything was fair game? Looks like things are starting to look up!”

Grabbing him by the neck and waistline, Tim arrogantly tosses Austin over the barricade, before him and his cousin jump over. They escort The Windy City Daredevil onto the apron and push him into the four cornered coliseum, ultimately set to put this all to an end. The hometown hero is not ready to give up without a fight though, for he strikes the rising Tim with a blistering right into the face. Grandeza isn’t having any of this nonsense and uses the time focused on The History Maker to sneak up behind and wrap the steel pipe around Austin’s neck and performs a Russian Leg Sweep to drive him down! From here on out, it is a nonstop mugging and the crowd is full force showing with their hatred on the situation with booing and “THIS IS BULLSHIT” chants! Tim pulls Carter to his feet, allowing Grandeza to jump forward and grab a hold of Carter in what seems to be a front chancery, before falling back to Dropkick Austin’s legs underneath him whilst connecting an astonishing DDT! Heading to the corner, LX is shouting “GET UP, PENDEJO” and stomps his foot multiple times into the sweat infested canvas. Groggily pushing up, Tim bolts forward like The Flash and drives a fierce Punt Kick aptly named “The Footnote” across his head to knock him out! Grandeza rolls him over and The History Maker drops down for the pin fall attempt.

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

DING DING DING!

Sanction: “Disgusting!”

Ramierez: “Here is your winner, The XWA Television Champion, L! X! TIIIIIIIM!”

Sanction: “An exciting match to be sure was tainted with Tim’s cousin Grandeza interfering! Unbelievable!”

Steel” Unbelievable!? That was resourceful! Austin had the whole crowd helping him earlier and now that Tim has his cousin it is too much? Get out of here!”

Sanction: “Whatever the case, Tim is walking out the ‘winner’ tonight.”

Charisma by Wasp plays from the public announcement system, allowing Tim to raise his arms up in triumph. Grandeza gets the Television Championship belt and hands it to LX, who raises the belt in one hand, meanwhile his cousin raises the other in absolute glee. The crowd boos and throws toilet paper and anything else in hand they can toss. Both Latinos exit the squared circle, leaving the arena laughing and smiling before cutting off to the next portion of the show.

*OOC: Good luck bud. Colors will be added later once I put these kids to bed. It's 11:42 and they still aren't down <_< *

Austin Carter

This was an overall good showing. I wasn’t really sold on LX-Tim just leaving the ring at the start. It’s a valid choice, but I’d rather see them all start the match at the same time somehow. I like the use of gifs. Makes it easy to see the moves. It’s good that there aren’t too many. I do often like to get lost in the words. The first elimination was cool with Tim stealing the pinfall from Carter. Definitely in character for him to do something like that. The missed dive into Cardiac Unrest was very believable. You had me pulling for the underdog most of the way. Cool finish.

LX-Tim

You are very good at bringing Tim to life in that ring. Lots of little moments and gestures that tell us who he is along with his constant mouthing off. This match makes me set aside my old school wrestling bias and embrace the more hardcore approach to the ring. It was cool seeing Carter get that superstar moment, hitting the Chicago Star Press to eliminate Lynx before facing off against the TV Champ. And cool how Tim sneaked up behind Carter with that German suplex onto the barbed wire steel chair to crush the high of celebrating with the fans. Incidentally, I really like The Footnote. The name is killer. The Punt Kick is always a good time.

Vote

My vote this round goes to LX-Tim. There’s something about your use of language as well as your ability to make Tim real that put you over here. Both matches were great. This one took some thinking to make a decision. And still TV Champ.

Austin Carter:
you improve more and more every time I read your stuff, genuinely. I mentioned recently the gifs, and how they should act only as exclamation points for the BIG moves. What I like here is that you described the moves before using them, sometimes so well that you didn't even need them. I knew exactly what I'd just seen. I say that to good I found them a little unnecessary here. I'm usually the gif guy myself but recently even I'm curbing it. Sometimes the writing its self is all you need, it's powerful enough and if you've got a great gif of the move you find yourself rushing the paragraph to get to the gif.

As always your action was good. Your matches are very indy-style in that I wouldn't ever expect to see them on Raw or anything. They're very spot-heavy and that's not necessarily a bad thing and I think you put over Tim as a sneaky heel really well. Commentary was very good. I really like the underdog-ness of Austin. It's been a while since we've had a character like him here, he's a very easy character to like. I will admit I got a tad confused after finish. Did the try to give the belt to Tim despite him not being the victor? I found it a bit hard to understand, maybe I need to read it again. Good stuff- you're taking on board feedback and it shows in a good way. Oh also one last thing- I like the LARGE SIZED WORDS for pin attempts and other spots. Keep that!

Tim:
This was what I've basically come to expect from you. First of all... Lx-Tim is such a git. Like he won an award for it but i wanna reiterate that I just love how fucking heelish and cocky he is. He's so up his own arse it's perfect and once again you proved that here. This match worked because of it and because he had a genuine babyface to highlight that. I feel Tim works best when he has a good face to fuck over and Carter was perfect for that. You also made him look like a million dollars here. An actual underdog hero who, on a different day where Tim had no help, could've won it all. The duplexes, the Lynx elimination, all of it. This made me want a rematch to see Austin get his comeuppance but I guess I'm getting that on Massacre!

One thing I enjoy about your work is your attention to detail. You're the subtle-things writer around here and you come up with stuff just no one else would even bother putting in. Tim's shouting and comments really sell that. Your formatting makes for easy reading, pacing is good, and the match was fun.

Winner:
I'm gonna give this to Tim. As much as I love the underdog getting a win, I enjoyed Tim's match more but I wanna see Austin and Tim go to hell and back in the rematch.

Brilliant work from both of you.
