If they got the guy that plays Sherlock to be the Doctor i would be all over it. Seems like he would be a great fit. Might watch the devil episode your all talking about.

I found myself watching both parts of The End Of Time, and am kinda pissed I never really caught many episodes prior. I absolutely love John Simm as The Master, I think he's brilliant.

He really is.

Ironically, Rob, the two guys who write Sherlock- Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat- also write Doctor Who. Although I would like to see Benedict Cumberbatch in Doctor Who, reckon he'd make an excellent Master.

On a coincidental note, Matt Smith ended up getting the role of The Doctor after he auditioned for the main role in Sherlock and the producer of both shows found him 'too campy' for Sherlock, but suggested he try out for Doctor Who instead. >.>

I was also meant to be in an episode of doctor who. There was a scene in the Christmas invasion where some people were stood on top of old Trafford. It got cut.

This series is better, and matt looks a better doctor without that Amy pond. Did not like her.

Nah, Amy came of as- for lack of better words- a whiny bitch by the end of it. She's fucking atrocious in the "Amy's Choice" episode of Series Five. Lots of un-necessary shouting.

And THIS is why the show is awesome. Things like THOSE videos. When the show has to be bleak, it bloody nails it. I reccomend watching "Dalek" from the 2005 series for those of you saying it's 'hammy'. The tone is very dark, the death toll is absolutely huge and the Doctor spends most of it acting very out of character.

That guy looks like David Tennant 2: The Second David Tennant.
