XWA Untouchable

Postby Dragon Ace » Mon Jan 09, 2017 2:34 pm

Some men are Good. Some men are Great. And some men are simply.....

Broadcast exclusively on The Xperience
LIVE! From XWA Battlezone, Chicago, IL (1,500 Capacity),

Theme Song: "Problem" by Nova Rockerfeller

The Main Event:

Jerod Barnez © vs. Drake Dysfunction

Last year was a rollercoaster for Jerod Barnez. From claiming his first XWA Supreme Championship, only to see his reign ended by long time friend Rob Chapman. And as if that wasn't bad enough, on the same night Rob and his new friends in ELITE sent Thomas Barnez to hospital and into retirement. But at Legends, Jerod got his revenge ending Rob Chapman's reign and becoming the first two time XWA Supreme Champion!

Also at Legends, Drake Dysfunction won himself some new XWA gold by claiming the Tag Team titles alongside Dan Bennett! The Dysfunctional One has always been seen as one of XWA's greatest talents, but he always seems to fall short of the mountaintop.

Well, this is 2017 and in a new year anything can happen! Will Jerod get his title reign off on the right foot? Or will XWA's Cinderella Man finally get his glass slipper?

Clash of the Lords!

Smith Jones vs. Michael Swift

Legends 2016 was an ending for some and a new beginning for others. And in the XWA fan bases eyes, few were welcomed back better then Smith Jones! The former Lord of the Ring left XWA amidst controversial circumstances last year, and just seeing him inside an XWA ring again was a great sight. And Smitty wasted very little time calling out everyone from XWA office to roster alike.

And the man that answered him was the CURRENT Lord of the Ring, Michael Swift! Swift was quick to answer the challenge, and the crowd's eagerness quickly made it clear that this was a match they wanted to see. And far be it from Ace Andrews to deny the crowd something they wanted to see, right?

Smith Jones, with the ink on his new contract still drying, will wrestle inside an XWA ring for the first time in almost two years. Can Smitty get a big win on his return? Or will their be a Swift end to the hype?

Hardcore Triangle Elimination Match

Lx-Tim vs. Austin Carter vs. Garland Lynx

When it comes to amazing runs in 2016, Lx-Tim has to be mentioned. The Latino Extremist came out and gave it his all every week and after three months he still reigns tall as the XWA Television Champion! His latest casualty was Garland Lynx at Legends, The Architect of Destruction wasn't able to escape Legends with the Television Title, but he's made it clear that is still his goal in 2017! Austin Carter is also looking for a way to earn himself some gold after coming up short against Adam Fenric, and when you add in the rumors of the XWA owners looking /very/ closely at this match for future World Title opportunities, and this one won't be for the weak of heart!

Can Lx-Tim take a step closer to a World Title shot? Can Garland Lynx prove just how much of a monster he is? Or will the Windy City Daredevil prove he's ready for an incredible year?

Opening Match!

Levinator w/LJ Summers vs. Giovanni Bianchi

There's been rumblings of a Tag Tournament in the works for weeks now, and sensing the arrival could be seen LJ Summers has reached out to his old mentor Levinator, bringing him in as a partner! The giant Australian is a multi-time World Champion, and is looking for a match to shake off the ring rust.

On the other side of the ring stands Giovanni Bianchi. Cousin to the longest reigning PRW Undisputed Champion, Lion Mertuil, greatness flows through his veins. And now that he is in XWA, The Hero of Naples is ready to break out of his cousin's shadow, and blaze his own path up the ranks.

Australia vs. Italy! Size versus Speed! Experience versus Enthusiasm! One of these men will go home with a loss in their debut. And the other....will be proven Untouchable!

Rob Chapman talks about losing his title!
