Brief Bio
Jimmy “Rose” Wilkinson is a certified made-man in XWA, a Hall of Famer and former two-time World champion. He has done it all and faced them all – MadDog, Tempest, Drama Queen, DGX, Alex Sean, Hutton Brown, Jack Sabbath, Angelus, Chris Chaos…Over a stellar career, he has proven himself to be XWA through and through, defending the company from invaders and never wavering from the cause. XWA is Rose’s home.

That’s not to say he’s a goody-two-shoes. Far from it. Rose is a sly bugger, a cheat, and has no particular qualms about doing what needs to be done. He has a mean streak only matched by his potential for blowhard cowardice. He also happens to be damn good at what he does, and has been good for a long time. When his motives and the crowd’s desires match up, they have no issues getting behind him.

Rose is now a somewhat sporadic competitor, and age is certainly beginning to catch up to him. Hair a little greyer, waist a little thicker, he has a whiff of desperation about him nowadays. He is, and always has been, fundamentally insecure – the reason he’s still getting into the ring in his mid-40s is because he he is now the veteran trying to relive his glory days, wondering just where all the time went and what’s going to happen when it runs out.

Caerphilly, South Wales. Residing in Chicago, IL.

Age

Alignment
While Rose is as cunning, sly, and sneaky as ever, he's a beacon in the XWA resistance, and the fans forgive him. Face.

Style
Rose’s body isn’t what it was. He’s only lost half a step at most, but already he is beginning to compensate by dictating the pace, taking the odd shortcut. He is not above poking an eye, using his teeth, and generally doing what needs doing. As ever, he has fantastic ring awareness and general technique. He can grab a hold and will dig his claws in, determined not to let go. Once in a blue moon, though, he can be explosive, and has a limited arsenal of dives that he’ll feel for weeks afterwards.
Allies
Ciaren Donegan (long-standing partner)
Tempest (long-standing partner and fellow XWA defender)

Enemies

Music
T-Rex - Children of the Revolution

Entrance Text
The thunderous introduction to the song being belted over the arena’s PA system is instantly recognisable to everyone in the world, though the man associated with it is recognisable to those acquainted with the XWA. As soon as they hear the very first note, the arena is drowned in cheers of adulation.

YEAH!

When Rose finally steps from behind the curtain the sound is only magnified. He strides out, turning as he does, a shower of sparks dropping from the sky as he does. He steps through this golden curtain and begins sauntering down the ramp.

Well you can bump and grind
If it’s good for your mind
Well you can twist and shout,
Let it all hang out

Rose reaches the bottom of the ramp and stares up into the ring for a moment. He then moves to the corner and hops up the steps.

But you won’t fool the Children of the Revolution
No you won’t fool the Children of the Revolution
….YEAH!

Rose clambers through the ropes and spins into the centre of the ring, posing for the gathered masses. He opens up his robe and turns to the crowd with his arms held up, before removing the robe an handing it to the referee to take care of. Rose wanders to his corner and starts a last-second warmup.
