Diamond Jack Sabbath vs. Ace Andrews
With their match at Legends ending without a winner there’s still no end in sight for the war between Jack Sabbath and Ace Andrews. And what do you do when two men need to settle a war? Well in the XWA you tell them to go out and beat the hell out of each other and throw out the rulebook for good measure. So that’s exactly what we’re going to do. No rules, no count outs, falls count anywhere, by the end there must be a winner. Will Jack Sabbath, fresh off of signing a new contract with the XWA, vanquish what he will hope to be the first in a long line of foes, or is he about to get aced?
Jericho Shaw vs. C5 Ion
With Legends in the history books it’s time to start a new year in the XWA, and with a new year comes new opportunities. Thus we introduce a concept first displayed down in Genesis. In the Proving Ground match the reward is simple, should the challenger defeat the champion (in non-title action of course) then he will receive a future shot at that champion in the very near future. Here we have Jericho Shaw, formerly Jack Jackson Jr., who at Legends shocked the world by cashing in and becoming the XWA World Heavyweight Champion. On the other side we have C5 Ion, who came so close to becoming the Television Champion, now he’s got an even bigger title to fight for, and an ever tougher opponent to fight.
Blake Jones vs. Joey Edwards
In the second of three Proving Ground matches the XWA Hardcore Champion comes off of a Legends match with Dan Bennett, certainly something to be proud of one would assume, and face to face with a brand new challenger in Joey Edwards. At Legends Edwards proved himself to be a force to be reckoned with and now gets a shot at the XWA Hardcore Champion. If he wins a guaranteed title shot will follow. It’s a clash between two of the fastest rising stars in the XWA, and it’s only on Massacre.
Amethyst vs. DeAndre Taylor vs. Smith Jones
At XWA Legends Amethyst became the new XWA Television Champion, but he’s about to learn that it’s not easy holding gold, not when there’s a whole host of challengers just waiting to take it from you. It’s especially tough when one of those men is the returning former champion, Smith Jones, who feels like he deserves a rematch. Win here and you’ll get just that, but he’s also got the added problem of DeAndre Taylor who, in just his second match in the XWA, has a huge chance to prove himself. No pressure guys.
